Based at Scunthorpe General Hospital (DN15), this permanent Healthcare Support Worker role (Band 3, £24,937–£26,598 pro rata) is ideal for compassionate carers who want hands‑on work supporting adults on a 25‑bed general surgical ward with a urology focus. Working alongside registered nurses, you will provide personal care (washing, dressing, catheter and pressure‑area care), assist with safe moving and handling and mobilisation, support nutrition and mealtimes including recording intake/output, take and record observations and ECGs, and help with admissions and discharges. The post is available full‑ or part‑time and suits people with prior healthcare experience, good secondary education, and a team‑minded, practical approach to patient wellbeing.
