Band 3: £24,937 to £26,598 a year per annum  PERMANENT   NO SPONSORSHIP 
Work as a Healthcare Support Worker on Simpson Ward at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, based at Torbay Hospital, Torquay (TQ2). In this hands‑on role you’ll be part of the multi‑disciplinary team on the HOP/stroke unit, supporting patients with dementia and those who display challenging behaviour. You will lead on completing ‘This is Me’ documents and risk assessments, carry out clinical observations and routine tests as delegated by registered nurses, support manual handling and use of mechanical aids, and help document care thoroughly. The post also involves supervising and teaching junior staff and contributing to staff education programmes alongside Safeguarding and Mental Health leads to raise skills across the ward.

This permanent role (Band 3) offers a real chance to develop clinical competence while making a tangible difference to patients and their families; salary £24,937–£26,598 and working patterns include full‑time (37.5 hours) and part‑time options.
