Job description
Work as a Healthcare Support Worker on Laurel 3 (Haematology) with Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in Worcester (WR5). This permanent, Agenda for Change Band 3 role (£24,937–£26,598) sees you working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, patient‑centred care. Day‑to‑day duties include personal care (washing, dressing, mouth care), meal assistance and recording intake, assistance with elimination and sample collection, moving and repositioning patients, supporting therapy and mobilisation, preparing patients for treatment and admission tasks, delegated clinical duties, and supervising junior staff and students. You may also assist with end‑of‑life care and the preparation of deceased patients. Essential requirements include basic numeracy and literacy, good communication, the ability to stay calm under pressure, basic IT willingness, and the Care Certificate or a willingness to complete it.
