As Healthy Start Coordinator at Whittington Hospital NHS Trust (Bingfield Health Centre, N1), you will lead the maintenance and development of the Healthy Start scheme across Islington. This part‑time, permanent role (Agenda for Change Band 4, £33,094–£36,195 pro rata) works closely with the Infant Feeding Coordinator and team to make sure Healthy Start reaches the most vulnerable families. Day‑to‑day you will be the main point of contact for staff queries, order and distribute Healthy Start vitamins, manage supplies through the Trust procurement system, and build working relationships with GPs, dietitians, maternity services and frontline colleagues. You will use flexible communication methods to overcome barriers, model effective teamworking, escalate concerns appropriately and help shape how services are delivered locally so they are accessible and inclusive for a richly diverse community.

This role suits compassionate carers and women seeking meaningful, part‑time NHS work that blends administration, outreach and public health impact. Essential requirements include GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, confident use of Word and Excel, experience with databases (RiO knowledge desirable), and strong communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint). A DBS check is required. Whittington Health values a workforce that reflects its local population and offers a supportive environment where your organisational and interpersonal skills will directly improve access to nutrition and support for families.
