The Role
University Hospital Hairmyres are looking to recruit a Higher Clerical Officer.
The Higher Clerical Officer provides comprehensive Administrative and Clerical support to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service and where appropriate, supervise clerical staff and provide support to line manager.

- Ability to supervise staff.
- Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care.

- Understanding of a range of procedures and processes.
- Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure.
- Proficient I.T. skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times.
