Job summary
The Higher Needs Floating Support Service is a commissioned service working with people in temporary accommodation or at risk of homelessness across a variety of settings.
Main duties of the job
The team work closely with the local authority, health, treatment and specialist support providers to improve outcomes and work towards more settled accommodation for those facing multiple disadvantage

Work to make current accommodation sustainable, work with the local authority to identify new or more appropriate accommodation, and work in a motivational and psychologically informed way. Work to engage and support clients with complex needs and/ or facing multiple disadvantages to maximise their choice and control over the support they receive by developing a network of support. Work with landlords, support agencies hospitals, healthcare, family, friends and others to create a comprehensive network of support that remains beyond the end of support provisions
