Lead acute physiotherapy care at Newham Hospital for Barts Health NHS Trust as a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist. This full‑time, permanent post (salary £53,751–£60,651 pa inclusive) sits within the Emergency Therapy and Older Persons Service (ETOPS) covering the Emergency Department, Acute Assessment Unit and Older Persons wards. You will work with a team of 15 therapists and therapy support workers caring for around 92 beds, taking responsibility for advanced assessment, treatment and clinical management of patients admitted to ED, AAU and OPS. The role includes determining clinical diagnosis, identifying functional deficits, designing treatment programmes, managing clinical pathways and planning safe discharges — an excellent opportunity to apply specialist skills in a fast‑paced acute setting.
