Support vulnerable young people aged 16–25 in Leeds as a Housing Support Worker with Inspire North, helping care leavers and unaccompanied asylum seekers take practical steps towards independent living. You will deliver 1:1 and group-based support on tenancy management, budgeting, life skills and housing advice, work alongside families, agencies and social networks to build lasting support plans, and involve clients in co-producing services. The permanent, on-site role is offered across a rota pattern between 7.30am and 10.30pm (including weekends and bank holidays); the full‑time equivalent salary is £26,994–£29,498 per year (pro rata), and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle is required. Knowledge of safeguarding and experience in housing, social care or youth work will help you hit the ground running — but if you can do most of what’s asked, please apply, as varied experience and commitment matter here.

This is a role for people who care deeply about practical, person-centred support — particularly suitable for women carers looking for meaningful work with family‑friendly terms. Inspire North offers flexible working options, 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to 30 with service), paid training and career development, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme, pension contribution, generous maternity/paternity/adoption benefits and active employee networks that champion diversity and wellbeing.
