We are currently expanding our team at The Cherwell Hospital and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Nurse to join our team as an Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Lead Nurse for 22.5 hrs a week. This can be considered a full-time position with the remaining 15 hours being assigned to work in your area of clinical expertise; ward, theatre, outpatients, pre operative assessment.
Leading in surveillance, prevention and control of infection in the hospital setting. Promoting and maintaining high standards of IPC practices with regard to safety of patients, staff and visitors. You will demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to provide a high standard of care to all of our patients, with excellent communication skills and an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team is essential whilst having flexibility.

It is essential you can provide evidence-based IPC clinical advice and support by leading in surveillance, prevention and control of infection in the hospital setting by promoting and maintaining high standards of IPC practices with regard to safety of patients, staff and visitors by providing. We are looking for a professional role model with experience in improving practice in IPC and delivering education to staff. You will be able to demonstrate this with evidence of your commitment to continual professional development'.
