Support data quality issues/data entry support for service areas across Children and Family Services. To advise clients on internal communications in accordance with FOI legislation and local policies and include maintenance and logs of such information. To coordinate FOI responses according to statutory guidance for the Children and Family Services department To work with and liaise confidently with a range of partners to ensure children receive our services and gather/monitor appropriate management information, providing technical services where required. It is vital to the future of the department that the post holder is flexible in taking on additional tasks, willing to offer help to employees and treats co-operation and support for colleagues as a top priority. About You Please refer to the 7 point criteria giving examples of how you meet the criteria below NVQ level 2 or equivalent, trained and proficient in MS Office with evidence of good written and spoken English. Relevant experience in a data administration field. Experience of working with spreadsheets, databases and web based systems and experience of working in a local authority or children and family environment. Knowledge of application of spreadsheets. Knowledge of FOI and Data Protection Legislation. Highly numerate and competent in the use of Microsoft packages and the production of documents as required. Excellent customer care and organisational skills. Good Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative is essential alongside the ability to prioritise your own workloads and work to deadlines. You must be highly organised, methodical and meticulous regarding the application of data. The post holder must have a flexible approach to working, an understanding of, and commitment to, Equality and Diversity and the ability to apply this to strategic work and day-to-day situations and be able to perform all duties and tasks with reasonable adjustment, where appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2.
