Following training, provide a phlebotomy service for patients attending the services.To participate in outreach and support health promotion events when requested.
To be non-judgemental to all client groups regardless of age/ethnicity/religion.
To undertake non-clinical duties in support of the admin team, for example undertake call taking and reception cover including number answering, registering patients and booking, support data collection and or general patient and non-patient administration.
Following training, undertake, read and interpret microscopy slides as directed by clinicians and appropriately document and communicate the associated findings, if required by the clinical service.
Hold the Care Certificate and deliver the associated standards of care or undertake the training at the earliest opportunity upon recruitment to post.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team within iCaSH Bedfordshire working across both sites at Bedford Kingsbrook and Grove View in Dunstable on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You will be working within our multi-disciplinary team including clinical and Outreach.

The post holder will support the delivery of healthcare for patients attending the integrated contraception and sexual health (iCaSH) service which is part of Cambridgeshire Community Services (CCS). This may include the supporting of patients who present with sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, contraception requirements and/or any other sexual health related problems.
Working Pattern
: 18.5 hours per week, 7.5 hr days, 0900-1700 or 1200-2000 Monday to Friday, Saturday on rotation 0900-1300 with half day off in that week to work across Bedford and Grove view site. Must be willing to travel. Hours to be discussed at interview
