We are seeking a Health and Safety Manager who will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, developing and implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety within the organisation and within multi-Liquidline sites. You will promote an environment of continuous improvement, striving to embed a culture of 'Safety First', and a 'Right First Time' mentality throughout the company. This role will lead the quality assurance process including ISO accreditation and supplier due diligence processes.
The Role - Health and Safety Manager
Develop and execute the QHSE strategy plans, projects, initiatives and KPI's to align with and support the main company objectives
- Leading on the execution of the company's QHSE strategy
Health and Safety Regulatory Compliance
- Managing Health, Safety and Environmental Activity and compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines. Maintain awareness of any legislative changes that will impact on the company.
Oversee, manage, and improve systemic performance
- establishing a culture of continuous improvement. Implementing projects that support a systems-driven business. Monitor all operations that affect QHSE and perform statistical analysis. Deliver QHSE training, advice, and guidance to all areas of the business
Compliance
- Oversee, manage, and develop external QHSE relationships. Working alongside customers, all other departments, and 3rd party suppliers to ensure QHSE standards are understood and met.
Manage and reduce risk -
Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and enforce preventative measures. Develop and implement emergency response plans. Conduct drills and exercises to ensure readiness in case of emergencies. Manage the company's risk management activities in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
What You Will Need in the role of Health and Safety Manager
- You will have a minimum of two years' experience in a Health and Safety Officer/Manager position
- NEBOSH/CMIOSH qualified with proven QHSE experience
- Strong technical knowledge of occupational health and safety and relevant ISO requirements
