Job summary

We have an opportunity for a part time Health Care Assistant to work in our South Locality, based at Cowgill and Sunnybank Surgeries.

Main duties of the job

It is likely that this role will be working in Cowgill from Monday to Wednesday and in Sunnybank on Thursdays, although this is subject to change and flexibility is required.

The hours will be from 8am until (no later than) 2.30pm at Cowgill. And from 8am until (no later than) 3.30pm at Sunnybank.

Undertake, record and follow guidelines for the tasks for which you havereceived appropriate training

Urinalysis and preparation of specimens for investigation by thepathology laboratory

Measuring and recording following physiological measurements in routinepresentations:

Blood pressure

Venepuncture

Basic dressings

Ordering/maintaining stock levels and control in treatment area.
