Healthcare Improvement Scotland has a range of exciting opportunities for talented Project Officers to join our team.

As the national improvement agency for health and care in Scotland, Healthcare Improvement Scotland supports improvement in front line care as well as leading on larger scale changes necessary across Scotland. These roles will provide an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of various national workstreams that impact on the way health and care is delivered across Scotland.


Role


As an experienced Project Officer, you will play a key role in the planning, management and delivery of our work programmes, which can involve:

  • Project and operational planning
  • Project support and management
  • Producing progress and risk management reporting
  • Stakeholder engagement and event management
  • Research activities, information gathering and report writing

In supporting multi-disciplinary programmes, you will be adaptable to change, flexible to work across different projects and be a proactive problem solver. Possessing an eye for detail with good communication, interpersonal and engagement skills will drive quality outputs and ensure projects are delivered within planned timeframes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, planning software and online tools such as MS Teams is required to support hybrid working.
