This is an exciting time to join our Gynaecology administrative team as a Patient Pathway Co-ordinator, with vacancies at both the Leicester General Hospital and Leicester Royal Infirmary.

We are welcoming applicants that don’t have NHS experience however have transferrable administrative/customer service skills. You must be able to demonstrate our Trust Values and be willing to learn, and embrace new challenges.

Experience in using HISS and patient administration systems would be desirable however, not essential as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills. A positive attitude is essential within our friendly and dynamic team.

Part-time hours may be considered but the suitable candidate must be able to work at least 3 full days (i.e. 8am to 4pm)

To support the Gynaecology department in running outpatient clinics, working closely with patients, surgeons, nurses, and other hospital staff.

To be responsible for the efficient administration of outpatient appointments from the point that a patient is referred to the service all the way through to the point they are discharged.

To ensure that patient information is accurately recorded on UHL’s electronic systems.

To sort and distribute post to relevant staff.
