An amazing new opportunity has arisen for a trail blazing Occupational Therapist to lead the way in developing our Home First Service, offering Occupational Therapy services to support faster and/or safer discharge from our adult acute wards, in partnership with the fantastic DORS (Discharge Outreach Recovery Service) provided by Venture People

Main duties of the job

  • Trailblaze: Lead the charge in developing a visionary service model, redefining the way Occupational Therapy supports individuals on their path to wellness.
  • Empowerment: Provide expert clinical assessment and intervention, unlocking the potential of those with the most complex needs.
  • Guidance: Offer invaluable clinical advice and support to our dedicated DORS recovery workers, ensuring the delivery of top-tier, person-centered re-ablement services.
  • Inspiration: Foster a culture of collaboration and enthusiasm, igniting passion and commitment to recovery-based approaches within our team and beyond.
  • Innovation and evaluation: Drive service development initiatives, fueling creativity and ingenuity to elevate the quality and effectiveness of our offerings.
  • Leadership: Provide clinical and professional leadership across our 2 Home First Later Life Occupational Therapy teams to ensure consistency and adherence to the model
