We are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 5 Nurse to work within our Specialist Learning Disability Service. The post holders will work as part of the Loirston Ward nursing team, which provides care and support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autism who also live with a comorbid mental health diagnosis.

The applicant should be a 1st level Registered Learning Disability Nurse and should have good knowledge base, and understanding of legislation relevant to this client group, and be able to evidence advanced communication skills. The applicant should have experience of working within an inpatient service as a registered nurse.

We are looking for individuals with who will enjoy the challenge that the role offers while demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to improving patient experience and outcomes, staff wellbeing and building a culture of nursing excellence.

The successful candidate would be expected to work on rotational contract of days and nights. Further information regarding shift pattern and rotation will be discussed at the interview.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
