We are looking for a Assistant Patient Pathway Coordinators to join the Gynaecology team a St Mary's Hospital.
The post holder will support the provision of the highest quality patient care through dedicated administrative and clerical support and continuous improvement.
The Postholder will support Lead Patient Pathway Coordinators ensuring the provision of a comprehensive service to the Consultants and their teams, working within this area. They will support the Lead PPC, who are the point of contact for patients accessing elective hospital services throughout their pathway of care ensuring Trust quality standards and targets are achieved.
Based in a specialty clinical team, the post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative and clerical issues relating to patients’ pathway of care, tracking and supporting them from referral to treatment &/or discharge.
The postholder will provide a patient focused service that supports clinical staff in the provision of efficient integrated pathways that enable the best use of resources and ensure that patients are fit, willing and able to be treated and that they are treated in the right place, by the right person, at the right time.
The post holder will ensure high levels of patient care and will ensure clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focused and knowledgeable point of contact.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and well-motivated individuals to work within our Gynaecology Division as Patient Pathway Coordinators to provide a comprehensive, professional and effective administrative service and to supervisor and monitor the staff within their team. These roles are crucial in looking after our patients from when they are initially referred to our Service by working closely with our Medical and Nursing Teams, until their treatment with us is concluded.
