We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, dynamic individual to join our growing Audiology Team.

The department provides a reception service for all our adult and paediatric audiology services. In addition to reception duties, the successful candidate will be expected to support the admin team with other admin/clerical duties. The role is mainly communicating with patients either face to face when they attend for their appointments, or on the busy phone.

Previous NHS experience is not essential and full training will be offered. We offer support through a structured period of induction and orientation along with opportunities for professional and personal development.

To be the first point of contact for patients and visitorsTo deliver a high standard of customer and patient care, by providing a friendly, confidential, and non-judgemental approach to all in contact with the service.

To liaise with a wide range of service providers to provide an efficient and helpful service to all patients and visitors.

To undertake a range of general administrative duties to support the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the service. This will require excellent organisational skills, working in a demanding environment, and adequate working knowledge of administrative systems.

To play a key role in ensuring any issues are escalated or resolved by effectivecommunication, initiative, and by following the Trust and departmental policies and procedures .
