Job summaryThe Women and Children's division are currently seeking a Triage Co-ordinator to join the team on a fixed-term, part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the provision of exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless patient pathway experience.
They will assist with providing support daily to the Gynaecology & Paediatric teams, supporting patients, clinical staff, and the Trust through the triage process of referrals.
Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their hospital attendances within the designated care pathway.
- Ensure high levels of patient care and satisfaction by being accessible, customer-focused, and knowledgeable in addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide administrative support and proactively manage patient pathways.
- Coordinate appointments in a timely manner and facilitate the smooth progression of departmental treatments or diagnostics.
- Maintain high standards of patient and clinician satisfaction by accurately executing the responsibilities of the role within specified timescales.
