Due to ongoing growth, my client is looking for an experienced Childcare and Young persons Assessor (Levels 2, 3 & 5) to join their team based in Cardiff and covering South Wales (including Swansea, Ebbw Vale & Mountain Ash). The right candidate must have the ability and experience to deliver to Childcare Learners and have an occupational experience within a childcare environment.


Duties


Delivery of training programmes to assigned learners ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved

Covering a regional area, travelling to visit learners in workplace to undertake assessments

Complete ILP's and map out learning routes for individuals

Reference and mark evidence collated in the workplace for NVQ requirements

Completion of learner attendance records and learners guided contact hours

Contribute to the planning, monitoring and achievement of agreed performance targets

Develop course material to support the delivery requirements

Maintain appropriate records of client achievements and meet performance criteria

Facilitation of tests as per awarding body requirements


Give Additional Support To Trainees When Required


Providing a quality learning experience and journey


Key Skills & Experience


Supporting learners to achieve qualifications to a quality standard

  • Occupational competencies and experience of delivery in Childcare
  • Experience of Work Based Learning and Award Body practices
  • CAVA qualifications or equivalent
  • ESW Communication Level 2
  • ESW Application of Number Level 2
  • Self-motivated & Driven
  • Flexible with ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Reliable, Enthusiastic & passionate
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
