Trauma Informed Practice Trainers (sessional post)

We are seeking 4-8 dedicated Trauma Informed Practice trainers to expand our training programme within the vibrant communities of Croydon. Building upon the achievements of our current initiative, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of local residents.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Trauma Informed Practice training sessions to diverse audiences in local communities.

Facilitate discussions and address questions related to trauma with confidence and empathy.

Collaborate with co-trainers to ensure effective delivery of training modules.

Support the development and promotion of a Trauma Informed Network in Croydon.

Training and Support:

Receive comprehensive training from a nationally renowned specialist trauma informed practice organisation.

Shadow courses during autumn and winter 2024 to gain practical experience.

Join the Croydon Trauma Informed Network to contribute to the development of a more supportive trauma informed culture and sharing learnings of communities.

Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to foster positive and inclusive learning environments.

Adaptability to accommodate the diverse experiences and needs of participants.

Proficiency in using online training platforms (Zoom, MS Teams) and in-person training methods.

Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Remuneration:

Hourly rate of £19.95 (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay).Trainers are paid for 8 hours per course delivery (with 6.5 to 7 hours of actual training time), working in pairs.
