The Role


We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Spa Therapist to join our team. As a Senior Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa treatments and services to our guests, as well as mentoring, training, and developing more junior therapists. All applicants must have excellent customer service and organisational skills, and a high level of professional practice.


Duties


  • To produce the therapist rota to support the demands of the business.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the spa therapists are aware of all changes to their schedule
  • Order treatment room stock and keep accurate room inventories.
  • Training new starters & existing Therapists in Treatment procedures & products
  • To carry out beauty treatments to the required standards ensuring the specific treatment time is adhered to.
  • Own the development of the spa treatment menus, marketing, and promotional activities.
  • To give professional advice to guests and promote available
  • To promote products, along with a full home care
  • To stay with the clients throughout the treatment, escorting them to and from the reception area.
  • To liaise in a positive and constructive manner with the Front of House Manager on the day's scheduled treatments, any changes, or additions to meet the ever-changing needs of our guests. Flexibility and cooperation are required.
  • To attend any appropriate training courses
  • To keep up to date with developments relating to the product ranges and any new
  • To ensure that equipment is fully operational and clean and report any defects to the Front of House Manager at any time of the day.
  • To adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
  • To ensure all equipment and utensils are appropriately
  • To assist in the cleaning and tidying of the treatment areas including bins, towels
  • To report any incidents, accidents, or any guest dissatisfaction to the Front of House Manager.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as delegated by the Front of House Manager.
  • To supervise, develop and manage 2 direct reports.


What We Are Looking For


  • An attentive people person who will be able to lead the team of Spa Therapists to achieve the departmental objectives.
  • A hands-on leader who will participate in carrying out treatments throughout the week.
  • An individual who has a high level of knowledge specific to your area of expertise and uses this skill and knowledge to coach others to thrive.
  • A minimum of three years experience in a spa or beauty therapy job.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience supervising a small team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Weekend availability is required.

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 Beauty therapy
