Homecare Admin Assistant
Band 3, 1.0 wte, 37 hours, permanent
£25,468 - £27,486
NHS Lothian covers Edinburgh city, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian. We are the second largest health system in NHS Scotland and one of only four teaching Boards. We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated individual to join our Medicines Homecare Team as a Homecare Administrator. You should have a SCQF Level 7 e.g. SVQ level 3 or evidence of equivalent knowledge and skills.
What will I do?
- Manage the generic medicines homecare team email account
- Support wider team with homecare prescription compliance checks and generating purchase orders
- Administrative duties including scanning, photocopying, filing, and maintaining medicines homecare electronic files
- Collation of workload statistics
What skills do I need?
- Attention to detail
- Motivation and enthusiasm
- Organisation skills
- Basic computing skills
- Checking Microsoft outlook emails
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to manage time effectively
- Able to work flexibly
