An exciting opportunity for a Customer Care Officer (CCO) /Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) has arisen with Islington Sexual Health services based at the Archway Centre.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic CCO/HCSW with an interest in sexual and reproductive health to join our services within Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. This is 37.5 hour per week including Late and Early shifts.

The successful applicant will be based at The Archway Centre but may be required to work at other services within the Sexual Health Directorate. The post will involve working shifts between 07.30-20.00 Monday-Thursday & 7.30-16.00 Fridays.

Working for our organisation

The role of CCO/HCSW includes direct patient contact with individuals who may be presenting with highly sensitive sexual health issues; we need staff to support these individuals in a caring, sensitive and non-judgmental way, always maintaining their confidentiality. As well as registering patients to our clinical system and helping patients book appointments, you will work alongside the administration & clinical teams ensuring all scanning, filing and other administrative duties are carried out as well as chaperoning, venepuncture & other duties in the clinic as required.

  • NVQ Level 3 relevant to post or relevant experience in healthcare setting/NHS or similar

  • Phlebotomy skills
