Nursery Assistant -The Teddy Bear Nursery - University

Key Responsibilities Include


  • To act as an assistant key worker to named children, carrying out observations and adding to developmental reports for each child and liaising with parents regularly.
  • Working in partnership with the team to assist and with the parents so always acting as a positive and professional role model with colleagues and with the children.

This post is fixed term for 6 months to meet the needs of the service.


To Be Considered For The Role You Will Be


  • You will need to have a minimum Childcare Day Care Level 2 qualification and experience of a Nursery Assistant role in a busy nursery environment covering the age range 3 months - 5 years, together with excellent knowledge of the child development and current practices.
  • This role will involve working varying shifts between the hours of Monday and Friday from 7.00am 6:00pm so flexibility is required.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
