School Nurse-Aldershot Centre for Health
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and flexible Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (SN) who enjoy the challenge of working with children and young people
You will work from a variety of settings including schools, partner agencies and homes working flexibly and creatively to best engage and meet the diverse health needs of the 0-19 population.
You will lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (DH 2009) within the locality and provide professional leadership to a skill mix team to enable the efficient and effective delivery of the commissioned service.
We are looking for someone with an inspirational and motivational personality and someone who is highly skilled in communication, with a strong approach to teamwork.
You will facilitate and deliver a range of assessments, brief interventions, proactive public health initiatives and work both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the family.
You will be expected to demonstrate clinical expertise and governance in all aspects of safeguarding children whilst being supported by robust organisational supervision, guidelines and policies.
