Ward 43 is a bustling respiratory unit comprising 24 beds, including 3 bays and 12 en-suite rooms. Here, we prioritize patient-centered care and foster a collaborative environment where every team member plays a crucial role.


Your Role:
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will work closely with our established and excellent Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver exceptional care to our patients. Your duties will include assisting with daily patient care activities, providing vital support to both patients and medical staff, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all.

Essential

  • NVQ 2 in care
  • Educated to a good standard of general education equivalent to GCSE Maths & English level C or above
  • Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement
Desirable

  • "Care Certificate" qualification. NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care
Further Training

Essential

  • Able to attend a 5-day Clinical Induction
  • Committed to attending further training and development as identified
Knowledge Requirements

  • Must understand basic requirements for individualised personal care
