Band 5: £29,970 to £36,483 a year per annum  FIXED TERM 

The post holder will offer a high standard of specialist knowledge and experience in supporting the Innovation Hub project. This may include supporting the procurement processes, the scoping of the hub, preparation of materials and delivery of an Innovation Hub. This may also maintenance of the hub site.

To contribute to the delivery of continuous improvement projects and objectives as outlined in the Quality Improvement Strategy and IMPACT (Improving Patient Care Together) Development Plan.

Supporting divisional, organisational and system wide planning, strategy development and monitoring whilst building and sustaining relationships with internal and external partners.

Contribute to the production of internal reports and assurance processes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Medical Directorate's Continuous Quality Improvement Team on a two-year fixed term contract as a Quality Improvement Support Officer.

The successful applicant will undertake a central role in supporting the delivery of an Innovation Hub whilst working closely with operational and strategic colleagues and external stakeholders.

The primary focus is the scoping and delivery of the Innovation Hub, but the post holder will also support the Trust on its improvement journey and its delivery of improvement projects/activities outlined within the Quality Improvement Strategy and IMPACT (Improving Patient Care Together) Development Plan.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised professional who can demonstrate effective inter-personal skills to build relationships with stakeholders for the Innovation Hub project. There will also be a requirement to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.

Key tasks will include:

  • Supporting the scoping and delivery of the Innovation Hub. This will involve supporting the identification of the components of the hub, the development of materials and the maintenance of the chosen site.
  • Delivery of tasks outlined in the Quality Improvement Strategy and the IMPACT Development Plan

Experience of continuous improvement and change management would be advantageous although training will be provided.
