As a Learning Technologies Librarian, you will drive innovation and improve learning outcomes by developing and implementing cutting-edge online learning resources. You will oversee the management of our library and eLearning facilities, ensuring they are accessible and efficiently utilized.

Salary: £37,338 -£44,962 per annum
Work Location: Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham
Hours per week: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

- Design and development: Create engaging digital content and training materials in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Library management:Maintain and enhance the library and eLearning facilities, including researching and suggesting improvements.
- Technology implementation: Research and implement online learning technologies to support effective learning initiatives.
- eResource management:Oversee a wide range of eResources, including the Library Management System, OpenAthens, e-Books platforms, and more.
- Subscription management: Manage library resource subscriptions, ensuring 24/7 access and resolving technical issues.
- Data analysis:Collect and present data on resource activity and impact.
- Knowledge sharing: Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions to connect staff and learners with digital resources.
- Technology awareness:Promote the benefits of using learning technologies among educators and trainees.
- Library operations: Provide day-to-day support for library operations and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Service improvement:Contribute to wider service improvement plans and identify opportunities for technological advancements.
