The hospital boasts a GOOD CQC rating in all 5 areas with beautifully landscaped walled gardens in a peaceful and tranquil location.

The ideal healthcare assistant will have a minimum of six months of experience working in a mental health facility and a strong commitment to helping patients at all times. Assisting patients with medicine administration, you'll be able to accurately document patient observations for the senior nurses. In order to help patients proceed towards recovery, healthcare assistants play a crucial role. As a result, you must communicate with patients in a friendly and caring manner.

Your everyday responsibilities will entail
  • Supervising nurse observations and aiding with patient care·
  • Being patient-centered and concerned about their well-being
  • Assisting patients during mealtimes, daily activities, and support groups
  • Support with patients’ daily notes and discharge notes
What qualifies you to be good fit
  • Health care assistant experience is desired but not essential
  • Mental health experience preferred
  • Great communication skills
  • Compassionate, understanding, and supportive to our patients needs
  • Experience working within a mental health setting desirable but not essential as an induction will be provided
