Nothing But Healtcare are currently seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our agency to work at multiple sites across Somerset. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to residents within our clients nursing homes. PAYE/Umbrella available £12 to £15 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
  • Provide support with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents' safety and comfort.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within residents' living areas and communal spaces.
  • Respect and preserve residents' dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant in a similar setting .
  • Genuine empathy and compassion for the elderly and vulnerable individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities
