If so, then come and join us in Salisbury and contribute to our vitally important antimicrobial stewardship work, as the Lead Pharmacist for Antimicrobials and HIV.

The pharmacist we are looking for will be a strong clinician, organised and hardworking with great communication skills and a passion for developing services. You will need to have a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma (or equivalent experience) and ideally be a current non-medical prescriber or willing to work towards the qualification. The role will focus on developing, delivering and managing the effective use of antimicrobials across the trust. You will accompany the microbiologists on ward round and contribute actively to the education and training of Pharmacy and other trust staff. You will be required to participate in the clinical pharmacy service our team provide to the admissions, medical and surgical divisions and provide a specialist service to our sexual health department.

You will be well supported by our experienced Lead technician for Antimicrobials and CQUINs and expected to hold line management responsibility for several rotational band 6/7 Pharmacists
