An award-winning group of SEN schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join their permanent staff at their alternative provision site in Stoke-on-Trent.

The ideal candidate will provide psychological support to students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs. Working closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies, they will help create tailored therapeutic interventions to support students' well-being and academic success.


Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and deliver therapy
  • Provide guidance to staff on psychological issues impacting students
  • Contribute to developing emotional well-being programs
  • Liaise with families and external agencies


Requirements


  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (HCPC registered)
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEN/SEMH
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Understanding of trauma-informed approaches
