Fressingfield Medical Centre are expanding our reception team and have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist/care navigator to join our practice on a full or part time basis. Ideally, we are looking for the successful individual to be able to work the following days/hours: Tuesday 13.30 -18.30 and Thursday 07.45-13.30. These can be discussed at interview as there is some flexibility. In addition, there will be potential to pick up bank and holiday cover shifts if interested. This can be a challenging, demanding and busy but incredibly rewarding role, and requires a customer focussed, enthusiastic individual to ensure our patients receive the best care and experience.

  • Greeting and directing all patients.
  • Making appointments.
  • Answering queries and complaints from patients and outside agencies, signposting to the appropriate staff member as appropriate.
  • Accepting, issuing and handing out prescriptions, letters, completed forms, specimen bottles, etc.
  • Advising patients of practice procedures.
  • Registering new patients.
  • Accurately maintaining patient database and records, photocopying, filing and scanning.
