You will work as a skilled Occupational Therapist , providing therapy services as part of the integrated, multi-disciplinary therapy team at Linden Lodge School.
You will apply your clinical skills in delivering hands-on Occupational Therapy, thereby ensuring the provision of a high standard of assessment, treatment and advice to children, young people and their families accessing the school.
You'll be working with a team supportive of colleagues committed to providing high quality therapy. We will support your development through a commitment to CPD and a protected training budget. The pay and conditions offered reflect NHS Agenda for Change & you can continue with your or start an NHS Pension fund within this post.
Occupational Therapists work as part of the integrated, multi-disciplinary therapy team at Linden Lodge School. The occupational therapy service promotes participation and functional activity of children and young people within the school and residential setting and the wider community.
The post-holder will be responsible for providing specialist, evidence-based and outcome focused occupational therapy provision in order to support the needs of the children and young people attending the school who are at different life stages. They will also be required to support teaching staff and families/ carers to implement occupational therapy strategies and approaches.
Occupational therapy sessions will primarily take place at the school, or at home or in a clinic environments appropriate.
