We would like applicants to have:
NVQ at Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent relevant training
Good written and verbal communication
Good IT skills
Willingness to complete training on the Trust`s electronic clinical records system (RIO)
Ability to work autonomously
Willingness to develop skills and abilities
An outgoing and enthusiastic personality
Ability to work well as part of a team
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2
The expectations of the role are as follows:
You will have a caseload of clients to work with alongside a registered professional
You will assist in devising and implementing personal support care plans for your clients
You will identify any risks and feed this back to the clinician or team leaders
You will take part in daily morning meetings to discuss high risk patients
You will take part in monthly reflective practice sessions, complex case discussions and any team training provided
You may have a lead role within the team
You will attend managerial and clinical supervision 4-6 weekly
You will be supportive of your colleagues
You will act as a role model for new members of staff and be part of inducting them into the team once you have completed your own induction
You will attend both corporate and local induction sessions
You will be flexible to ensure that risk is prioritised
You will be professional and practice to a high standard
You will be based in Maidstone CMHT
