An opportunity has arisen at Northern Contraception, Sexual Health & HIV Service to join our friendly team at our Hathersage Centre hub. The post holder will gain experience in sexual health, contraception and HIV care.

The post holder will work towards being able to undertake duties of seeing patients independently within an integrated sexual and reproductive health service. To participate in clinical duties commensurate with their banding, experience and competence.

To perform symptomatic and asymptomatic screening, venepuncture, vaccination as an autonomous practitioner.

To provide sexual health advice to clients as appropriate, including supporting the role of the health advisor.

To undertake the administration of hormonal contraception and medicines under agreed Patient Group Directions (PGD) or as a non medical prescriber.

We will consider appointing to a band 5-6 training position if there are no applications from suitably qualified nurses.
