Job summaryJoin our dedicated team on Ward 32 as a Senior Health Care Support Worker and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our patients.
Ward 32 is a busy surgical ward currently accommodating medical outliers as part of the Winter Plan. With 24 beds, including 12 side rooms, we provide a supportive environment for patients requiring surgical and medical care. Our team consists of experienced surgical and medical professionals who collaborate closely with multidisciplinary staff to ensure outstanding patient-centered care.
Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Assist in providing direct care to patients, including assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Support patients and their families by providing emotional support and addressing their needs and concerns.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
