The Administration Officer role at the North West Genomic Laboratory Hub (GLH) with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust involves providing vital administrative and secretarial support to ensure the smooth operation of the GLH. The North West Genomic Laboratory Hub (GLH) is one of a network of seven GLHs across the country, which together forms the new national Genomic Medicine Service. Each GLH is responsible for coordinating services for a particular part of the country
Every candidate will be expected to liaise with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally and will also be responsible for all GLH required administrative tasks commensurate with the banding of the role.
The Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring aspects of administrative and secretarial support is provided to members of the NW GLH. This includes maintenance of office, organization of meetings, office administration, travel arrangements, minute taking and invoicing and ordering procedures.
Reporting to the Admin Managers the post holder will be responsible for their workload and will be able to work without direct supervision
