This role involves providing personal care, hygiene, and welfare support, enabling pupils to maintain dignity and work towards independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and follow individual care programs for each pupil.
- Maintain pupils' dignity and respect through intimate care protocols.
- Encourage independence and boost confidence in pupils.
- Ensure safety and functionality of hygiene unit equipment and report any issues.
- Assist in achieving educational targets and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children and adults.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Physical capability to perform daily manual tasks.
- Experience in personal care or supporting young people in developing independence is beneficial.

- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, able to connect well with children, young people, and adults.
- Teamwork: A collaborative team player who can also work independently with initiative.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable with daily physical tasks, including manual handling.
- Experience providing personal care or working with young people in developing independent skills.
