About the Role:
Smiley & Co, Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Hygiene Assistant to support children and young adults with complex neurodisabilities at a leading charity school. This role involves providing personal care, hygiene, and welfare support, enabling pupils to maintain dignity and work towards independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and follow individual care programs for each pupil.
  • Maintain pupils' dignity and respect through intimate care protocols.
  • Encourage independence and boost confidence in pupils.
  • Ensure safety and functionality of hygiene unit equipment and report any issues.
  • Assist in achieving educational targets and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills for interacting with children and adults.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Physical capability to perform daily manual tasks.
  • Experience in personal care or supporting young people in developing independence is beneficial.
