Integrated Family Services are a welcoming, forward thinking team with an emphasis on staff wellbeing and high quality service delivery for all. We are looking for someone who is energetic forward thinking, creative in planning and able to develop and strengthen the service raising the profile of the excellent work undertaken by this dedicated team.
We are based over 3 sites on the one campus with most of the role centred on children’s services delivered in Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, Neonates in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and Child Development Teams across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.
The post holder will be accountable for the delivery of safe and effective operational management, clinical governance, financial balance, staff governance and safety of the services for which you will be responsible for. The services include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy, Play Therapy and oversight of the School Teacher based in the hospital. Working in partnership with the senior management team to decide the cost effective delivery of services that maintain quality, safety and ensure that the patients and their families receive as much care close to home as possible.
The post sits within the Integrated Family portfolio which is part of the Acute services. The post holder will report to the General Manager and for professional support to the Director of Allied Health Professionals and will work alongside the Operational Managers, Chief Nurse, Director of Midwifery and Unit Clinical Director.
