Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) Co-ordinator– Band 4 Post
Location - Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. (Ashgrove House) , 37 hours per week
Are you looking for a challenging role that’s more than just an administration post? We have an interesting opportunity on offer – we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to the position of MDT Co-ordinator to work within the MDT Coordinator team for Cancer Performance. The role of the MDT Co-ordinator is to provide administrative and audit support to the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings including live typing at the meetings, ensuring the efficient running of these meetings and providing feedback to the MDT, Performance Management Team, Service Manager and Lead Clinicians in line with cancer waiting times patient pathways
The successful applicant for the post will have strong administration skills but more importantly have the ability to prioritise and escalate potential issues on the cancer pathway for patients to ensure that Scottish Government target dates for 62 day and 31 day pathways are met.
The post holder will use the Cancer Care Pathway (CCP) software along with other software packages to manage the patient pathway. Training will be supported.
