The main responsibilities will be ( with supervision as required )
- To work autonomously to provide assessment and treatment/management for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including those with complex needs. Referrals are received from GP, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, MIU/A+E, self referral and other NHS colleagues. When appropriate onward referral to other services may be required.
- To support the development of students and other colleagues .
- To assist the Team Lead in the management of the Physiotherapy Service i.e to be involved in service development
- Excellent at communicating , sometimes within a complex situation and with patients with complex needs.
- Able to work within a team and independently
- Able to work flexibly and possibly within challenging situations
- Forward thinking and positive so able to find solutions to problems
