The Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified High-Intensity Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) to join their Older Adult Community Mental Health Team (OA CMHT). The role involves providing high-intensity CBT services to older adults experiencing mental health disorders, particularly focusing on those over 65 and individuals under 65 with early-onset dementia. Candidates must have experience working with older adults, hold a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and possess comprehensive communication skills to support varied client needs. The position is based in DeVitre House, Lancaster, and involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver assessments, diagnoses, and individual care planning, contributing to the overall mission of improving mental health services in the local community.

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting specialist cognitive behavioural assessments and therapies, collaborating with both clients and professional colleagues, and adhering to the relevant policies of the service. Additionally, the NHS Foundation Trust promotes a flexible working environment to ensure employees maintain a healthy work-life balance. This is a permanent, part-time position with a competitive salary range of £46,148 to £52,809 per year, pro rata.
