The role of Care Group Medical Director - Primary Care & Community at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board involves a clinically active clinician, either a Public Health Consultant or GP, who will serve a three-year fixed term. The director will collaborate closely with Operational and Nursing leads to oversee the medical functions of the Care Group, ensuring governance and patient safety. This position is integral to the leadership team focused on modernizing primary care and community services across Cwm Taf Morgannwg, promoting collaboration across different specialties and sites to meet clinical needs.

Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership, contributing to high-quality patient care, managing clinical departments, and supporting staff development. Essential qualifications include current GMC registration, managerial experience, and a background in clinical governance.
