Job Summary
Are you looking for a Mental Health role with a difference? Trainees will need to start university mid-April Our Drug and Alcohol service at Inclusion Staffordshire is looking for two Trainee Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWP) to join its friendly and professional team, to provide evidence-based interventions and plan care for adults with severe mental health problems. The team is innovative, forward thinking and committed to a Recovery focused approach that meets people's needs. The variety of the role will keep things fresh and stimulating and you will be part of a supportive team with effective management providing supervision and guidance.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work alongside service users, families, carers and multi-disciplinary team members to plan care, supporting collaborative decision-making about care and treatment, and deliver a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically-informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, based on the best evidence available, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems.
Working under close case management supervision from a suitably qualified professional you will provide high quality collaborative care planning as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. To work under close clinical skills supervision from an HCPC registered practitioner psychologist or BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural therapist to provide specified psychologically-informed wellbeing-focused interventions.
