The Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join the Trafford Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) at Crossgate House, Sale. This role focuses on supporting older adults, particularly those living with dementia and other mental health needs, through a variety of psychological and neuropsychological assessments and interventions. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to working with this demographic and ideally possess experience in multidisciplinary environments.

This fixed-term position, covering maternity leave until June 2025, involves collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure that psychological support is integrated into treatment plans. The successful applicant will contribute to both neuropsychological evaluations and interventions for patients with cognitive impairments, as well as providing support for older adults without cognitive issues.
