We have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join Children’s Therapies at Barts Health NHS Trust in Tower Hamlets. This is a rotational post across community services at Mile End Hospital and acute services at Royal London Hospital.

The post holder will provide high quality and specialist occupational therapy interventions to a wide range of paediatric patients.

To provide client centered specialist Occupational Therapy assessment, advice and input to children and young people with acute, traumatic, congenital and/or chronic conditions affecting their occupational performance using the best available evidence base.

To gain experience of the occupational therapy process over a child’s whole journey within the different teams of the Children’s Occupational Therapy Services across acute and community settings in yearly rotations.

To provide advice and support to other professionals, educational staff, parents and carers involved in addressing the occupational performance of children with a range of needs in the community and acute setting.
