Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants for part-time roles in Wigan, Merseyside, offering competitive pay rates between £13.00 and £18.00 per hour. We are growing our team in Wigan and the surrounding areas, we are seeking for dedicated and committed Healthcare Assistants to join us and build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
We support Children & young adults with long term, life limiting conditions, providing specialist, person centered care which is tailored to their individual complex care needs.
This rewarding role offers days & waking night shifts, on a full time or part time basis, providing essential care to our service users within their own homes.
Our service users live within Wigan and the surrounding areas and require a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to support their long term, ongoing care needs.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in not only attending to the clinical care requirements of our service users but also assisting them in enjoying activities they love.
At home, you will participate in various activities tailored to the interests and needs of our service users. Our care also extends outside the home, where you will assist with community outings, shopping trips, and park visits.
Throughout the night, you will support evening or bedtime routines and remain alert and responsive, responding accordingly to their care needs.
This can include frequent observations, carrying out personal care, moving and handling, and carrying out clinical interventions.
This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service users, really making an impact on their day-to-day lives.
